A Wintery French Feast

Join us for an evening of fine French cookery with chefs Pete Cooksley and Reece Inkpen. Pete, a good mate who’s worked at our favourites like Embla in Melbourne and Franklin & Lucinda in Hobart (RIP), will be serving up a wintery feast inspired by local produce and ‘cuisine bourgeois’ alongside Reece. Vivant Selections are bringing down some rare French wines from Sydney to pair with their dishes.

Walk-ins only from 4pm. C’est Bon!

WELCOME BACK REECE!

WELCOME BACK REECE!

We are delighted to announce that from today chef Reece Inkpen will be joining us permanently in the Paz Noz kitchen! Could this mean the return of the devilled eggs? All aboard...exciting times ahead!

ROMAN DINNER

ROMAN DINNER

Join us on Wednesday 24 April for a one-off Roman dinner with chef Georgia Lahiff. Hailing from Canberra, Georgia has trotted the globe with her culinary talents from Rome to London, via Puducherry and Paris, as well as stints in some of Sydney’s best restaurants. Most recently, Georgia has been cooking at Roman wine bar Enoteca L’antidoto which has informed her menu for this pop-up event. This is a unique event to see the flavors of Italy through the lens of one of Canberra’s own! Walk-ins only from 5pm until 9pm. Molto bene!
JUAMA WINE TASTING!

JUAMA WINE TASTING!

This Friday 12 of April from 4pm, James Erskine of the legendary Jauma (South Australia) will be in-store pouring a free public tasting of their new releases. Expect pét-nats, ethereal whites, skinsy things and luscious reds. One of the forerunners of the natural wine movement in Australia, we are extremely excited to have James with us to chat through his unique cuvées. All wines will be available to purchase by the glass, bottle and takeaway. This is a tasting not to be missed!
Bon-voyage Chef! 👋 😢

Bon-voyage Chef! 👋 😢

This month will be the last chance to catch our wonderful Head Chef Aidan Kidson behind the pans at Paz Noz. Aidan was with us on day one, from helping sling paninos at our launch party, he has gone on to be a huge part of our growth and evolution from wine shop to enoteca to quasi-restaurant. We will miss his hearty Friday-night pastas, considered and delicious plates but most of all his wit, charm and infectious energy! Aidan and his family are moving to Melbourne to start another chapter. His last day will be Sunday 21 April. Bon-voyage Chef!
MADA 'SUI GENERIS VIII' LAUNCH

MADA 'SUI GENERIS VIII' LAUNCH

We are over the proverbial moon to announce that Canberra legend Mada will be launching the brand spanking new 'Sui Generis' wine with us on Saturday 26 August. Winemaker Hamish Young stretches his creative legs every year with this small-batch one off release. This years' wine is a unique expression of rosé made with carbonic Pinot Gris covered in Muscat d'Alexandria juice. The result is perfumed and elegant with an underlying richness. Each 'Sui Generis' features a local artist on the label and this year Jess Herrington has made three different digital artworks created by feeding the wine's tasting notes into an image generator with striking, slightly 'Paranormal' results.  Join us to celebrate the launch of this years' drop in-store from 3pm Saturday 26 August. 'Sui Generis VIII' will be available by the glass, bottle and to takeaway as well as a few rare past 'Sui Generis' wines from Hamish's cellar.
