Rich and well-rounded Syrah by AJ Hoadley, working in the coastal region of Great Southern. A more savory, mellower version, blackberries and morello on the nose, the palate is meaty and rich but tempered with a great fresh dark berry acid with the wine finishing with medium peppery tannins. No jamminess at all, a delicious fuller-style wine that should please those looking for a more Rhône-like Syrah.
